So when I was about 13 the two things I wanted more than anything, were a pair of Buffalo Boots and a Baby G watch. Well, it seems not only are chunky, stacked, rubber ankle boots back, in some sort of 90’s goth nostalgia moment (which only works when teamed with an AA dress and ripped tights btw) but also the dawgs behind Baby G and G-Shock watches are about to launch a new store in London’s East End. The only place to launch a new store these days apparently.

On 24th June 2010, Casio G-Shock are opening their doors to the creative dwellers of Shoreditch, it will be situated on Dray Walk in the Old Truman Brewery, the perfect place to do it. However G-Shock East sounds as though it will be more than just a conveniently located watch shop, they plan to become a hub for underground creativity in East London by playing host to installations from emerging artists and designers, which will sit alongside G-Shock and Baby-G’s most directional product offerings.

Check out this sick watch from their latest collection which dropped through my letter box the other day! This goes a little way to repairing the psychological damage and constant disappointment of never having a Baby-G watch as a teen… thanks G-Shock!!

Also check out their sites for more info on the new store and all the other amazing time pieces which are available!!
